Vacation From the Holidays

Ladies, the holidays are over and it's back to real life. Did you forget to schedule a little "me" time? Here are 6 simple self care ideas...

  1. Take a bubble bath. Warm up and wind down, light a candle, read a book, close your eyes...let the stress drip off.

  2. Put your phone on "do not disturb". Unplug for an hour or however long you need. Let your mind focus on something other than Instagram stories and refresh yourself!

  3. Tidy up your house. Do laundry, declutter, meal prep. You’ll feel so much better once it’s done. This will free up mental and physical space for you to flourish.

  4. Go for a walk. Grab a water to go and get moving! Your body will release endorphins and walking reduces stress. Go with a friend for an extra "boost" of positivity :)

  5. Make yourself a fancy drink at home. Fancy a coffee? Fix it up with your favorite creamer and a dab of whipped cream. Sit on the porch or with your favorite book for a few minutes to yourself. This is the perfect way to "fill your cup".

  6. Get pretty! Wear your hair down, spread your favorite lip gloss on, put on that second coat of mascara! whatever makes you feel beautiful- rock it, girl!

It is so important to practice self-care. Find what replenishes you, makes you happy, increases your physical and mental energy. Your family and friends need your cup to be full so it will pour over unto them.
